In today’s time there are various groups of Christian “believers” that holds to some dogmatic ideas that can very easily become heretical in its implementation. I have to sadly admit that while at school I held onto these ideas, and in so doing became quite pharisaical to some degree.
Joy, or the absolute delight in our Creator and Savior, is a concept so little understood I believe, that people have only attributed joy to external “actions” such as laughing, crying, jumping etc.
Urban Life church is going through remarkable times! I believe that we will look back sometime in the future and comment about how “unparalleled” these times were. His-Story making times!
This post actually comes out of my Diary, I wrote this down while I was waiting for my washing to finish Monday afternoon, and this is actually something that came about on the way to MMC, so in a sense it is a result of the Conference. On the way to MMC we spoke in the car about being a Christian and our understanding of certain concepts.
To the delight of many friends and colleagues I finally made the move to cut my hair on Saturday. So on Sunday I got beaten up by this gang of crazy Christ-followers who wanted to know the reasons why as there are speculation that a Delilah is involved.
There is no denying it. God wants us all to live in abundance, He wants to have a relationship with us, He wants us to be servants to all and He wants to pour out gifts, blessings, revelations and brand new experiences over us.

I’ve probably never been as excited in my whole life as I am now. As some of you have read in my previous post 2010 – An experience, I already have had a whole lot to be thankful for and already am experiencing many new and exciting things.
