Hey there all you URBAN LIFERS!!
Just wondering how things are going up there? We are still “down under” and loving it  - BUT  -  the countdown has begun….
•    Sundays – 5 down … 2 to go
•    Beds – 15 down ….. 2 to go
•    Churches – 6 down …. 2 to go
•    Flights – 4 down … 2 to go
•    Kids to see – 1 down …. 1 to go!!
We really aren’t counting tho!!!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone again and hearing the good report first hand – we have had some great e mails over the last couple of weeks and we have been GREATLY encouraged…….and a little jealous that we are not there to experience with you all the good things God is doing amongst you! I am sure that JOY is filling the house because “What JOY for those you choose to bring near, those who live in your holy courts. What JOYS await us inside your holy temple.” (psalm 65:4 – my “pick me, pick me” psalm!!). Our continued prayer is that God would indeed choose Urban Life to bring near and fill the house with His magnificent Presence! Oh my, I am excited to come home!
We have had an incredible time in NZ – we have seen God’s favour and hand upon us as we have traveled (by car over 2000 km!). I have experienced firsthand how He has refreshed me when I was overwhelmed with tiredness and how He has moved and encouraged others through us yet in spite of us! Craig has done really well here in the preaching and encouraging and has been able to see prophetically into situations. God is faithful to His people.
It has been fantastically fantabulous to have been with Kev – he is doing well and the BLING and BEARD are just “outer cup” things really – the inside is so healthy and still handsome(Mark  7!!!)!!!! He has breathed life into the church in Havelock North and the church has benefitted from him being there – pray for us as we say cheers to him on Mon!!!
We traveled to the South Island for ministry into 2 churches there – I can attest to the fact that the South Island is MUCH closer to the South Pole than the North Island!! It was cold…..brrrrr! Did manage to see and experience snow – thanx Jesus! The churches we visited on the South Island are doing well – small in number but encouraged in their faith. It would be marvelous to see their numbers increase and a sweep of the Holy Spirits power through their meetings with signs, wonders and grand miracles – how exciting!!!!!
We are in Auckland this weekend visiting a church that I feel is strategic for this nation and has heaps of potential to reach into the surrounding islands and further afield.
Next week we fly to Sydney for the Hillsong conference – oh – and we see MICHELLE!!! I am not sure which will be better for me!!!! Michelle will be dancing at the finale of the conference on the Friday night – what a privilege for us to be able to be there to watch that big moment – thank you Urban Life for releasing us to do this! I also know that we will come back enlarged.
So – before I write for hours – I want to tell you this one thing…… as we have been away and visited these many churches and seen  beautiful works of the hand of God – there is no doubt in my mind
