Words

This morning I really struggled with whether or not I should go to the prayer meeting and I walked down to the gate and opened up the iKya property at 5:30. From the I went back to my house and back in bed but I felt a bit restless and I decided to get out of bed and to the prayer meeting, I could never have made a better decisionLaughing! Out of that place God spoke three words into me which I would like to share with you.

1: I felt God say that we need to get up and go! Jesus was saying to me and to all of us that for far too long He has been paralyzed from the neck down. That His body has been willingly or unwittingly inactive and ineffective and that it's time we rise up to our calling. It's time that His feet start walking and His arms reach out, His hands touch and heal and that His gospel gets carried to the furthest parts of the earth, to every tribe, age and nation. That His glory and splendour may be seen to shine from the darkest depths and the highest heights.

2: I also got a picture of a rather ordinary jar of clay but people were walking past all the lovely looking jars and going towards the ordinary jars. From these they drew gifts of the goodness and kindness of God. Out of that picture I felt God say we should not be bland and that we should stick out from a crowd like those ordinary vessels, that people should be able to pick us out from crowds of hundreds and thousands and say there's something in them that I want and as they draw near that they start to receive the gifts of goodness, kindness and love that God has in store for them.

3: And finally I felt that in this time as we move from generalist to specialists we need to give up our God-given passions to Him that He may align them with the direction and flow of His Spirit. I felt we need to move from God- given to God-driven passions, that He may take that which we love and use it to display His glory and splendour all to honour and magnify His name.

So my prayer is that as God mobilizes His church we may stick our hands high in the sky and say here I am Lord use me. I'm thrusting my hand high and jumping around, spinning in a frenzy and saying God, my God, use me! May the name of our glorious and majestic Father be magnified in all the earth. Amen.

Blessings.
